9-9:15am Welcome & Orientation Together we establish our sitting space and set intentions for the day.

9:15-9:30 Teaching: The Ancient Art of Alchemy Alchemy is the understanding (experientially through the heart) of how consciousness relates to matter (& experience). In other words, "As within, so without." Alchemy is a fancy word that points to a basic truth: that you are a divine being who is here to create, to bless and serve others. Your ideas and presence are meant to come to fruition to make the world a better place.

9:30-10:15am Silent Meditation Together, we sit in silence.

10:15-10:30am Teaching: The Gate of Possibility Together, we move through the first gate - the gate of possibility, digging deep on what do I want? And why do I want it?

10:30-11:15am Silent Meditation Together, we sit in silence.

11:15-11:30am Teaching: The Gate of Inner Yes Together, we move through the second gate - the gate of inner yes. This is where we uncover the beliefs, fears, and mindsets that are currently keeping us from realizing our deepest desires, in the present moment as well as in our greater life circumstances.

11:30am-12pm Silent Meditation Together, we sit in silence.

12:00-12:30pm Lunch Together, we share a beautiful meal in mindfulness and gratitude.

12:30-12:45pm Teaching: The Gate of Outer Yes Together, we move through the third gate - the gate of outer yes. Expecting synchronicities and learning to ride the Flow with lightness and ease.

12:45-1:30pm - Gentle Yoga & Meditation Together, we move in flow with a gentle yoga practice, using the body to become more in tune and release any emotional blockages.

1:30-1:45pm Teaching: The Gate of Truth Together, we move through the fourth and final gate - the gate of Truth. This is the point of realization, contemplation, and meaning. When we pass through the Gate of Truth, all our experiences only deepen the simple knowing: "I exist."

1:45-2:15pm Silent Meditation Together, we sit in silence.

2:15-2:30pm Writing Exercise Together, we take time to reflect through writing.

2:30-3:00 Optional Shares We close our time together with opportunity to share, connect, and practice deep listening.

At Undone Academy, we believe that everything we’re looking for is already here within us, exactly as we are. Silence is one of the most transformative ways to actually realize what this means.
Join us for this special Silent Retreat as we embrace a New Year with renewed clarity and abundance.

Explore some of the most common questions we receive about Undone Academy and our transformative approach.

What can I expect from a Silent Retreat?

Our Silent Retreats offer a unique opportunity for deep introspection and personal growth. Here’s what you can typically expect:

  • Silence: As the name suggests, the core element is silence. This extends beyond speech to include minimal noise and distractions.
  • Meditation: Expect a significant focus on meditation practices, including guided and silent sessions. These may vary in length and style depending on the retreat’s specific focus.
  • Mindfulness: Retreats often emphasize mindfulness techniques, encouraging you to be present in the moment and observe your thoughts and feelings without judgment.
  • Structured Schedule: Our Silent Retreat has a structured daily schedule, including meditation sessions, meals, and often gentle yoga
  • Limited Interaction: Social interaction is usually limited or non-existent. This allows for deeper inward focus and reduced external stimulation.
  • Personal Reflection: Time is provided for personal reflection, journaling, or other introspective activities.

Why would someone attend a Silent Retreat?

The benefits of silence are so profound, they’re hard to explain until you experience them yourself.  Here’s what you can typically expect:

Benefits:

  • Reduced Stress: When we learn to quiet the mind, we are able to find the place within us beyond the noise, beyond the anxiety. When we realize ourselves as the stillness underneath, we’ve discovered the refuge within.
  • Stronger Neural Pathways toward Peace: Training the mind is no different than training other muscles. Silent meditation can strengthen your connection to the Present-centered Network of your brain, which produces high-level Gamma waves for creativity, presence, and insight.
  • Increased Self-Awareness: Silent meditation can create space for valuable insights into your thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behavior.
  • Improved Focus: Meditation practices can enhance concentration and mental clarity.
  • Spiritual Growth: For some, Silent Retreats can facilitate a deeper connection to their spirituality or sense of self.

Do I have to be silent all day?

The purpose of silence is to shift out of our task-oriented, survival-based lower-brain function and access the higher Present-centered network of our brain.

To do this, we do expect an environment minimizing distractions. But don’t worry – this is not a severe setting.

You’ll engage in guided mindfulness practices and gentle yoga, have ample time for introspection, and follow a structured schedule including a catered lunch that will support you in several extended periods of silence.

What do I bring?

Bring a yoga mat and anything else that will help you feel comfortable.

Participants often love having a blanket, fuzzy socks, or a meditation cushion.

Is lunch included?

Yes, a delicious catered lunch IS included.
